Bitsy ZimmerGrowing up, Bitsy had two things she viewed as important. 1) caring for people with love, honesty and respect and 2) her love of animals. As a teen she worked in an adult faster care home and although she really enjoyed the clients and listening to their amazing stories of how life was back then, she was heartbroken when they would pass on. After graduating she went to dog grooming school in Florida. Upon coming back to Oregon she opened her own salon, Bitsy's Pampered Paws.

In 2006 she was ready for a change and attended a local medical college to learn phlebotomy. She enjoyed that career along with working her business until she accepted a job in 2007 as the supper lead cook for a summer camp. Although it was challenging to direct a crew and get everything out on time she greatly appreciates the help of her aunt (The camps director) for so patiently teaching her the skills needed to cook for 350 people and to manage a crew under her.
After summer camp she cooked for Mission College under a chef who taught her valuable skills in regards to managing a kitchen and some short cuts on prep work. There she met her husband Jeremy. They were married in 2009. After a few years traveling with Jeremy's little ministry they settled down and added their first child in 2011. At this time Bitsy took up an old hobby professionally and started training horses. In 2014 they added their second child. Today she enjoys working from home and being able to spend time with her kids.
